Elite Sporting Tours developed out of the enthusiasm and admiration two Australian golf lovers had for the US Masters and Augusta National Golf Club. Like all golf lovers our ultimate dream was to one day witness the greats of golf competing for the coveted Green Jacket at the US Masters.
Since experiencing the US Masters first hand in 1998, we created Elite Sporting Tours to provide a similar opportunity to many others who had thought the chance to walk Augusta National Golf Club’s hallowed turf was simply an unreachable dream. Along our journey, Elite Sporting Tours patrons have had the opportunity to witness some of the US Masters most poignant moments:
Gene Sarazen’s, Sam Snead’s and Lord Byron Nelson’s last ever shots at Augusta National, completed as honorary starters of the tournament;
The presentation awards ceremony by Augusta National Golf Club (one of only five ever) to Jack Nicklaus for his outstanding contribution to the US Masters tournament and especially his amazing feat in winning as a 46 year old in 1986;
Arnold Palmer’s 50th consecutive and final US Masters appearance in 2004 - then re-beginning the tradition of the honorary starter in 2007 and having Jack Nichlaus join him in 2010;
Phil Mickelson’s storming back nine 31 to win the 2004 US Masters (and becoming only the 4th player in history to do so with a ‘must’ birdie on the 18th hole);
Tiger Woods’ thrilling ’27 hole Sunday’ in 2005 to come from behind and win a playoff after securing a birdie at the 16th hole with ‘the shot heard around the world’;

Elite Sporting Tours first visited the US Masters in 1998. We had organised the tour through a local operator in Augusta, who provided access to tickets, accommodation and entertainment for the week. What developed was a life long friendship with a born and bred native of Augusta, who happened to be the General Manager of a leading USA Corporate Events company. This relationship has now allowed Elite Sporting Tours to secure the Australasian licence for all leading USA sporting events operated by our Licensor, which most predominantly includes the US Masters.
As our Licensor’s sole agent to the US Masters in Australasia, Elite Sporting Tours can organise tour packages to the US Masters with greater efficiency than many other Australian based operators. Our prices speak for themselves, however our core strength is being able to secure (12 months in advance) unlimited supply to tournament badges and lodging. This is a direct result of the strong International relationships Elite Sporting Tours has developed in the USA in recent years.
In addition to the cost savings benefit provided to patrons of Elite Sporting Tours, we have access to Corporate Hospitality facilities directly opposite the main gate of Augusta National Golf Club. Our Licensor has hosted some of the biggest names on Wall Street in these entertainment facilities.
