We are pleased to announce that the talented Matthew Butcher is joining the Elite Sporting Tours team as our head chef for the upcoming 2015 US Masters in Augusta, Georgia.

Elite Sporting Tours have been hosting premium tours to the US Masters and Augusta National Golf Club for golf-loving Australians since 1998. Inspired by our passion to create memorable personalised tours with impeccable service levels, we have grown from humble beginnings when we first hosted nine clients almost 15 years ago.

The 2015 Tournament will see well over 200 guests of Elite Sporting Tours being treated to a host of incredible meals prepared by Matthew and his fantastic team of chefs throughout US Masters week, all at our private “Australian” Host House 200 meters away from the hallowed gates of Augusta National Golf  Club (https://elitesportingtours.com.au/us-masters/host-house/)

Hailing from a prolific career working under world-renowned chefs Gordon Ramsay, Shannon Bennett of Vue du Monde and Ryan Clift of Tippling Club in Singapore, Matthew, at age 28, is currently the lead executive chef at Morris Jones & Co. in Prahran, Victoria, his first solo venture. Matthew’s impressive career stems from a love of food that grew in his childhood home in country Victoria. He has a dedicated passion for sourcing local produce to curating dishes that are unique, exciting and ‘a bit of fun’ and capturing the hearts of Melbourne locals along the way. His soulful take on contemporary Australian cuisine will bring a very welcome touch to Augusta for our 2015 tour.

Matthew is very happy to have the opportunity to team up with Elite Sporting Tours this year to lead the Host House events and VIP dinners for all of our tour guests and wonderful friends and family in Augusta. He is truly excited to join the team and very much looks forward to walking the hallowed fairways with our clients during the 2015 US Masters to be part of, and witness, history in the making at the 79th US Masters.
